I can agree or disagree and without a shadow of a doubt at all I agree with you. Mike LaForge is simply outstanding. I thought he was great last year let alone this year. I havent broadcasted as many Big Red games yet this year being as they've played mostly away games thus far but I can say that I do agree. DEFINITELY! I've heard the offense is causing people to be a little frustrated right now but losing both Foster and Sawher hurt them big time and in short this is a BIG RED team that as far as I am concerned finally is showing one season where they are having difficulties in replacing the talent that they lost to graduation. Usually they find players that step up and are just as talented but it's hard to match what this offense has had the last 4 seasons. That plus the fact that in the games I've seen them this year they had no running game at all from the RB position. I know it's tough to find guys like Tatti and Titus but that's a huge issue for them. Chapman out of the offensive backfield at QB can get yards in chunks but that's about it for them as far as I've seen. I dont believe that Justin Black has lived up to his full potential yet. Last season though, like I said he had great talent around him. That has shifted a bit but just the fact that he is injury prone is another unfortunate reason that he hasn't performed fully yet. Don't forget he still has a senior year left so we can cross our fingers for him. Again...when you talk about Galanos there is no comparison at all due to the fact that he had a tremendous RB behind him in Chris Tatti who is probably the best player I've called play by play for in the past 14 years at Memorial Stadium. I dont think you can compare them but at least Black has one more chance next season. As for LaForge... you're right. I can't agree more with you. He is an exceptional talent, an aggressive player and tackler and he should get more recognition. Believe me he gets it when I call play by play. I saw that you have been talking to Mike LaForge from the Port Huron High Big Reds football team and i want to put this out there. Why isnt this kid getting the recognition that he deserves. I am at every game and the only thing i can hear on the PA is "tackle made by mike laforge" "tackle made by mike laforge". This kid has to average atleast 20 tackles a game. The big reds defense is light years ahead of there offense on the field. I say keep the defense on the field to play offense too. The play calling is unbelievable for the offense, as they choose to not utilize there players correctly. The real best player in the area is mike laforge, not justin black who i see in the paper everyday but yet has barely made the cut to be the quarterback on the port huron big reds football team and all the fans know it.
