Despite a blowout playoff loss to Warren DeLaSalle I just want to congratulate the Port Huron High Big Reds for a fine 7-3 season. The Big Reds were just basically a victim of a tough luck first round playoff grouping having to face such a highly ranked team in state. I don’t like how the MHSAA does their playoffs and the format is more then a little bit unfair. Facing schools twice as big makes it extremely difficult. Either way though, you all had a season to remember and certainly one you can all be proud of. WAY TO GO BIG REDS! The folks at CPHS - Channel 6 are very proud of you…AS IS THE BIG D!!! OF COURSE!

yea big d. it would have been def. nice to be home.. but we like adverse situations.. were highly unfavored but, the doubters dont phase us. let em doubt. we’ll see what the outcome is.

Durrand - I think its a shame that you got hurt in the first place. The compliments and respect were earned. Like I said before this would have clearly been a different team had you played all season long. Dont be intimidated by this DeLaSalle team #3. Like I told Tim if you have nothing to lose then prove it…GO DOWN THERE AND KICK THEIR ASS.

Tim - I kinda figured Trevor wouldnt be hurt and if so he wouldnt be hurt for long. He always seems to be hurt in some way playing through some pain. As I said on the one broadcast Baker is a TG - TOUGH GUY!
As for Warren DeLaSalle please dont go into this game thinking these guys are ranked in state. Go down there and kick their ass.

Yo Big D Thanks for the compliments and respect you’ve shown towards me and my injury, you know if i could have came back earlier i would’ve especially since its my senior year…I may not start this week but with the quaterback i got this year it wont be hard to make sure my presence is felt…#3

Trevor baker is back.. and most likely be facing surgery after the season… but unfortunatly were not home.. were down in warren facing delasalle
